This little dish is made from fine, white stoneware, and impressed with a delicate, florentine pattern before being bisque-fired. It is then dipped in a light blue glaze, which breaks over the pattern, leaving the exposed scroll work a light sandy color.
It measures 2 1/2" wide, the perfect size to hold a pen nib, tea bag or ring.
