This water pot is glazed in a satin blue/green glaze, and the dark brown clay gives it a rustic, farmhouse look. Carved lines allow the glaze to create an interesting texture as it breaks over the ridges. The pot is wheel-thrown using chocolatey brown stoneware, and then carved, before being bisque-fired. It is then coated with glaze and fired one more time to cone 6.
