This past summer, I acquired several rare print blocks, courtesy of Mike Sull, which are vintage 80-110 years old, and were used to reproduce master handwriting specimens. 
How better to carry on their history then to press these letters into clay, bisque fire and preserve forever?
Each piece is extruded and impressed with letters, then bisque fired. Oxides are painted on and wiped back when dry to settle into the impressions of the letters and texture of the clay.  They are then glazed with a clear gloss.
Each piece measures 4" x 1 1/4" x 1", and has cut recesses to hold six pens or brushes. 
Please allow for variations, each is hand-made and truly unique.
