This Pen Rest and Ink/Paint Holder, made of solid Marblewood, will be a handsome addition to your creative space. Marblewood is native to Northeastern South America, and is favored by furniture makers for its fine markings. Its heartwood is golden brown with irregular brown, grey or black streaks.
 
This piece is hand cut and sanded, and finished with a coating of clear gloss polyurethane. This beautiful piece measures 3" wide, x 4'" deep, and 2" high. It has a recess cut for your pen, (not included) and holds a .7 oz plastic container with a screw top lid (included). The ink holder is the perfect size to hold an ample supply of ink or paint for even the longest project. The ink container sits in a recessed hole, and is tilted about 15% for easy access to your ink supply. Rounded corners complete the finishing detail.
