The 8 containers are made of heavy plastic, and have a screw-top lid which is air-tight and holds .7 oz (included). They are the perfect size to hold an ample supply of ink or paint for even the longest projects.   Eight  of your favorite colors will be close at hand. 
 
The piece measures 8 1/4" x 4 1/2" x 3/4." The corners are rounded and sanded, and the whole piece is finished with a high-gloss polyurethane for protection.
