This pen holder is made from solid Ash, the bark is removed, then cut and sanded, giving an earthy, rustic appearance.  Expect variations in grain, each piece is unique.  It has 8 openings, and measures approximately 7” x 2 1/2.” Openings measure 5/16 and will accommodate pens with a slim handle. Finished with a light satin lacquer to allow the unique wood pattern to shine.
 
Ash is known for being one of the strongest hardwood, very dense and lighter in color than oak, with an irregular grain pattern.
