This water pot is wheel-thrown from fine white stoneware. While in the leather-hard stage, it is hand-carved before being bisque-fired. After firing, the carved portion is painted with a blue-grey glaze, which breaks to rust in random places. It is then dipped in clear glossy glaze before being fired to cone 6.
It measures 3.5" x 3" and holds 7 oz. of water.
