This little nib dish made its debut at Roman Holiday, the 40th Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Conference in June, 2024.
It is formed using fine white stoneware, then bisque-fired. 
The "ABC" is impressed in the clay using the font "P22 Peanut," designed by the late Michael Clark, and extraordinary calligrapher and font designer, and then bisque-fired. It is then glazed and fired once more. 
The dish is the perfect size to hold a handful of pen nibs, measuring 2" around. It also can hold your rings or tea bags!
