The gloss white glaze breaks beautifully over the chocolate brown clay, allowing the hand-cut carvings to show through. These pots are thrown on a pottery wheel, from dark brown clay, and then hand-carved with random markings. After a bisque fire, it is dipped in a gloss white glaze, which breaks over the carvings.
These little pots are the perfect size for illustrators and painters to hold a bit of water to refresh your pens or brushes when working small. They measure approximately 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" and are a practical and attractive addition to your work space.
