This pot is wheel-thrown from smooth, chocolate brown clay, and carved with a row of strokes on the bottom when leather hard.  It is then bisque-fired, and glazed with a gloss white glaze, which pools in the carved recesses, and fired once more to cone 6. It measures 3' x 2" and holds approximately 4 ounces of water.
