Stubby lines filled with bright color line this large water pot. The pot is wheel-thrown from smooth white clay, then carved while leather-hard. It is then bisque-fired, and painted with orange, purple, red and blue to fill in the carved portions. The final step is to dip in a clear glace, and fire once more to cone 6.
This pot is perfect for using with watercolor, when a larger amount of water is needed to keep brushes clean. It measures 3 1/2" x 3" and holds 8 ounces of water. Cut outs on the sides serve as a resting place for your brush.
