This water pot is wheel-thrown using fine, white stoneware, and then a stripe is painted with blue underglaze. When dry, the pot is hand-carved and sanded, and bisque-fired. The final step is dipping in a milky, gloss glaze. There are 2 notches carved on the sides to hold brushes or pens.
The pot measures 3 1/2" x 3" and holds 8 oz. of water.
